One day I strapped a bin to my board and collected trash out of Lady Bird Lake for 2 hours. The most common items I found were bottle caps, which I turned into stones by wrapping them in plaster and hemp fiber. As a science geek, I noticed the cardboard forms resembled a graph: time along the X-axis and the soul’s wisdom along the Y-axis. The gray, cement-like shapes represent challenges that test your growth, but when nurtured, your daimon ultimately prevails.
